CRAFTING A FILM JUST FOR YOU...
MGV Productions work with a wide range of clients and an even wider range of budgets.
We understand how to best maximise your budget to produce a film which will work effectively for your business.
Below are just three examples of different specifications produced by MGV Productions.
This will hopefully give you an idea of how much time you might need for your project.
If you have any questions at any time feel free to directly contact our Commercial Director, Dale Webb, who will be able to guide you through the first steps of making your film.
Just because you don't have a huge budget for your video project doesn't mean the quality of the film needs to suffer.
Ensuring the fundamental aspects of the film are correct is vital to it being an effective means of marketing, promoting or communication.
This includes strong editorial control, engaging video content and a clear narrative.
Our sample film, Portcullis Law Store (above), was produced with just one day of filming and one day of editing. This created a highly-effective film describing the clients services in an easy to watch, engaging format.
MID BUDGET PRODUCTION
If you feel your project requires more production, then a mid-range budget will probably meet your needs.
At MGV Productions we take the fundamentals of our affordable productions and build from there. A mid-range specification would include more pre production time, allowing the client to work closely with our producers to fine tune the aims and planning of the film. It may also include more filming days to allow to capture more content in different locations and ensure more choice in the edit.
The additional editing time then allows for further fine tuning of the final film, a more detailed colour grade to help it stand out and ensure every aspect of the clients' brief has been met.
This style of production is ideal for mainstream corporate films, with which you are looking to impress future clients for many years to come, tender films for larger organisations looking to stand out in the competitive procurement process and projects that require several days of production to capture the full story.
Our sample film (above) "Welcome to Santorini" for The Donkey Sanctuary was filmed over 3 days along with 2 days of editing. Part of a larger campaign to promote the work the charity is doing in the region the film needed to be informative, engaging and educational for a wider audience to watch. Filming over multiple days allowed us to capture every element of the story and create an engaging short documentary style film attracted hundreds of thousands of views across social media.
HIGH END PRODUCTION
Some productions just require more time and budget to truly tell the story they need to convey. These are productions which need to not only engage the audience but also set the standards of a brand or organisation the target market have come to expect.
These productions will have larger crews and multiple days of filming. They also have much more pre production time to ensure that all aspects of the production meet there needs. Editing is often a much longer process with these projects as the post production team work together to assemble the final film. Every shot is carefully anaylised and colour graded to maximise the quality of the final product.
Sample film (above) One&Only Nyungwe House. This production consisted of a 14 days of filming on location in Rwanda along with another 14 days of post production. The final film is now used as the hero film for the clients marketing and promotion of this luxury resort.
